Privacy Notice
What YUHINA stores about you, why, how long, and how to get it back or erase it.
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Status: pre-release alpha. YUHINA is not generally available. The interface and the generated outputs are in English and Arabic. New accounts receive a small grant of trial credits; there are no paid plans, no subscriptions and no credit packs on sale yet. Features may change or be withdrawn, and generation may fail or be interrupted.
Who operates YUHINA
YUHINA (“YUHINA”, “the service”, “we”) is operated by YUHINA. Full operator details — the registered legal entity, its address, its registration numbers and the governing law of these documents — will be published on this page before any paid plan is offered. Until then, the service is provided as a pre-release alpha and no purchase is possible.

What this notice covers
This notice covers the YUHINA application — accounts, workspaces, uploads and generated content. The marketing website at yuhina.ai has its own, shorter notice covering the one contact form on it.
What we store
| Data | What it is | Why we hold it |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Your email address, the name you give, your workspace and your membership of it, sessions and sign-in records. | To give you an account that only you can reach, and to keep your workspace separate from every other customer's. |
| Uploads | The source material you upload — documents, slides, notes, recordings, text — and the files derived from them. | To generate the outputs you ask for. This is the material you chose to give us; we do not go looking for more. |
| Generated outputs | Videos, decks, quizzes, summaries, podcasts, mind maps, flashcards, notes, and the run records that produced them. | So your library persists between sessions and you can export it. |
| Credit ledger | An append-only record of every credit granted and every credit spent, with the run it belongs to. | So the balance is auditable and a wrong charge can be traced and corrected. It is a financial record, so entries are never edited — only added. |
| Operational logs | Request, error and job logs, including IP address and user agent. | To keep the service running, to investigate faults, and to detect abuse. |
We do not run advertising pixels or third-party trackers, and we do not sell personal data. We do not use your uploads or outputs to train models.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- To perform our agreement with you — running your account and generating what you request.
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, available and free from abuse, and in keeping an auditable ledger.
- Compliance with legal obligations where one applies to us.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account data | For the life of the account, plus a 30-day cooling-off period after you request deletion, then permanently erased. |
| Uploads and generated outputs | Until you delete them, or until the account is purged. |
| Credit ledger | For the life of the account; erased with the workspace on purge. |
| Sessions | 30 days; revoked immediately when you request deletion. |
| Operational logs | 90 days. |
Deleting your account
Deletion happens in two steps, and the first one is immediate.
- You request deletion in Settings. Your workspace is marked deleted, every session in it is revoked, and access is cut straight away. Nothing is destroyed yet, and you can restore it yourself at any point in the next 30 days.
- After 30 days, everything is erased. Every database row across the workspace and every stored file it owns is deleted, and an audit then confirms that no orphaned row and no orphaned file remain.
Two erasures are not yet automatic and we will not pretend otherwise: slide decks held in our rendering service, and entries in the search index, are removed on request today and will be part of the automatic purge before general availability. Ask at support-yuhina@magpie.sa and we will do it by hand in the meantime.
Your rights
- Get a copy. Settings exports your account, workspace, content records and ledger as a machine-readable file, with no need to ask us.
- Erase it. The deletion flow above, also self-service.
- Correct it, object, restrict, or ask us to explain something. Write to support-yuhina@magpie.sa. We aim to answer within 30 days.
- Complain. You may complain to the data-protection authority where you live. Tell us as well if you can — we would rather fix it.
Who else processes it
Generation needs specialist providers: text recognition and speech transcription, a language model, and speech synthesis. Each one, what it is used for, and where it processes data, is listed on the Subprocessors page. Data leaves the country you are in when a provider is elsewhere; the transfer mechanism for each is being executed with counsel and is recorded on that page.
Security
Every customer’s data is isolated at two layers — the application checks access on every request, and the database enforces the same boundary itself, so a bug in the application is not enough to cross it. Access to production is limited to the people who operate the service. Report a vulnerability through the Security page. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
Children
YUHINA is for adults: 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to support-yuhina@magpie.sa and we will delete the account and its data, keeping only the minimum record needed to stop it being recreated.
Changes
We will update this notice as the product changes; the date at the top is the current version. Material changes are announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
About this document
These documents are drafted by the YUHINA team and have not yet been reviewed by external counsel. They describe what the product does today. They will be reviewed, and may change materially, before any paid plan is offered.
